Meet our Pastor
Welcome Message
Please allow me to take this opportunity to personally welcome you to the Dunamis Harvestfield Ministry’s website. My wife Theresa and I are excited that you’re here. On behalf of our entire church family we want you to know that we are committed to ensuring that you really get to Know Jesus for yourself. For me, I am astonished on a daily basis that the Lord could show unto me so much kindness by considering me worthy and appointing me to His service. (1 Tim 1:12-14). Like many others, I was raised up in a Christian home and attended a church that taught me some fundamentals of the Christian faith. However, I was never fully stirred up to know Christ for myself and to surrender completely to Jesus as my Lord and master. Therefore, I remained a religious hypocrite for several years. However, through His own divine ways, God graciously granted me the gifts of salvation and true repentance and gave me a new life in Jesus Christ.
At Dunamis Harvestfield Ministry, we are not just interested in making you come to our church without a real quest to having a personal relationship with our lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, the simple purpose of our site is to introduce you to those areas of our ministry which are relevant to your life at this time. You will find a variety of ministries and departments here that are all established to assist you in your quest for spiritual growth and wholeness. We have classes and activities for every age group from the youngest baby to the eldest person in your family. Feel free to inquire about and investigate these ministries and departments in order to find out what God is doing through this body of believers. While we have worked hard to give you a glimpse of our ministry, the best way to discover the heart of a church family is by spending time with its people. Once you do this, we’re convinced that you will find everything that you’re looking for and much, much more. God is doing some very exciting things in the hearts and lives of the people who call Dunamis Harfestfield Ministry their home church. So, discover it for yourself! Who knows… it could change your life!
HISTORY
“ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
Dunamis is a Greek word in the Bible which generally means “power, force, or ability.” Paul used the word in 2 Timothy 1:7 when he wrote “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” This Greek word dunamis is where the English words “dynamite” and “dynamic” originate. Paul wanted Timothy to know that God had given him the dynamite ability to stand strong in the faith and the dynamic skill to share that faith with others.
Harvestfield is looking at the souls yet to be won for Christ. “Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:37-38 (NIV)
Hence, Dunamis Harvestfield Ministry is a community of zealous men and women who believe they are called to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known to the ends of the earth through the dunamis power of the Holy Spirit. We strive to live a godly life confidently in this present age and we carry a mandate to preach to gospel to the ends of the earth.
Our story began on the 19 February 2017 with a small team and a big vision to make a difference by bringing the message of grace to the people of Santoe and then to the rest of the world for the good of all people and the glory of God.
Meeting initially under rented tents before moving to the current structure. Through the week we are committed to living lives of love, service and generosity.
Throughout our journey we’ve seen many saved by Jesus while others reconnect with Christ and His church. We have help out many of the poor in our community, equipped a lot with the gospel message, trained numerous leaders and seen many doors opened for the gospel.
We are not a building or an authority structure, but “a people for God’s own possession that we may declare the excellences of Him, who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9).

STATEMENT OF FAITH – WHAT WE BELIEVE
At Dunamis Harvestfield Ministry, we believe in the following:
1. ABOUT GOD

God is the Creator, Ruler and Sustainer of the universe. There is only one true, Holy God, who exists eternally as three persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each is fully God yet personally distinct from the other. God has a profound love for humankind as the only creatures made in His image. HE wants the best for us and has initiated a plan enabling us to have a personal relationship with Him.
2. ABOUT HUMANKIND

We are each made in the image of God, to be like Him in character. Although humankind has tremendous potential for good, we are marred by our sinful nature that separates us from God and causes us to fall short of the fullness of life He intends for us.
3. ABOUT ETERNITY

Death seals the eternal destiny of each person. For all humankind, there will be a resurrection of the body and a judgment that will determine the fate of each individual. Those who reject God in this life will be separated from God forever, while believers will be received into a lasting union with God and rewarded for works done in this life.
4. ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and fully man. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead on the third day to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again to reign in
ultimate supremacy forever.
5. ABOUT SALVATION

Salvation is a gift from God to sinful humankind. We can never make up for our sin through self-improvement or good works, and even our best efforts leave us unable to earn God’s favor. Salvation of humankind is therefore completely a work of God’s free grace, not the result of human effort or goodness, and must be personally appropriated by repentance and faith. Only by trusting in Jesus as our Savior and inviting him to rule our lives can we be freed from sin’s penalty and receive eternal life with God.
6. ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all equally God. The Holy Spirit is the agent of regeneration and renewal for believers in Jesus Christ, and lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with ability to live a life that honors God, understanding of spiritual truth, power to be Christ’s witness, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.
7. ABOUT THE BIBLE

The Bible was written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. All the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, given by divine inspiration, are the written Word of God, our only infallible authority for faith and practice. These Scriptures are to be interpreted according to their context and purpose and in reverent obedience to the Lord who speaks through them in living power.
8. ABOUT THE CHURCH

There is one true Church—the body of Christ–comprised of all who acknowledge Jesus as Savior and Lord. As the Scripture commands, believers are to gather in local congregations for corporate worship, instruction, fellowship, ministry and outreach. Through baptism and Communion, Christ-followers publicly celebrate their conversion to Christ and experience of his grace. God gives to the church elders and other leaders to prepare his people for works of service, that together in love and unity all grow to maturity and bring glory to God
